Hi everyone. It is almost halfway through August and back to school is at hand. Vacation times will soon be over and many will be getting focused for another year of challenge.
How fast the years seem to go by when you are chasing your dreams.
I always try to stay present as much as possible. Even though I am planning for the future, I make a real effort to enjoy the moment to moment action.
A short meditation period always seems to center me when I am feeling too pushed for time by ‘self imposed’ targets. The key words here being ‘self imposed’.
Investing in a few minutes of ‘me’ time, saves my sanity sometimes and puts everything into perspective. And that was where I was this morning… Are you getting enough “you” time?
.
Are you happily achieving and enjoying your journey through this miracle and wonder filled life? Are you experiencing the thrill of achievement and challenge?
Sometimes it feels as the world is conspiring against everything we hold dear. We hit plateaus, we fail to get the results we are working for. But we keep on moving forward, always in the direction of our goals.
In the end, everything is good and serves us in some form or fashion, although it does not always feel that way in the midst of crisis.
Some of our biggest problems hit us just before our greatest breakthroughs. In fact some of our greatest breakthroughs wouldn’t have occured without the massive effort it sometimes takes to solve some seemingly ‘huge’ problem.
So my wish for you is that you too have ‘huge’ problems in your future. They are a sign of growth. They mold us, they shape us, and they allow our character to shine through. Look forward to them.
And when you come out on the other side having overcome your challenges, relish the experience and remember the elation you feel at the moment of those successes.
I have been rambling on here. May you run into lots of “good” problems to solve… And relish your “you” time regularly.
