Why Set Goals?

Goals Are Important To Your Health And Well-Being

Do you jump out of bed in the morning filled with enthusiasm for the day’s activities?

If you do, then you are probably doing what is right for you. Great!

If not, you may want to change that up a bit. You may need more excitement in your life.

Having well thought out life goals can give you great reasons to wake up every morning and look forward to your life.

Your life journey should be joyful.

And I am not just talking about things to buy, but goals for relationships to cultivate, and activities to pursue.

How would you like to spend every minute of every day, filled with passion for what you are doing?

Would that appeal to you?.

Step by step, you joyfully and happily follow your ultimate dream.

In a sense, you happily achieve, rather than achieve to be happy.

The journey is where all the joy really is you know.

Use your short time on this planet to do those things that bring you the most fulfillment. Have fun. Choose empowering activities that support your goals journey, and your best life.

We tend to overestimate what can be accomplished in a day, month or year. But we will underestimate what we can do in a decade, so don’t sweat the small stuff. 🙂 Remember-if-you-cant

Achieving smaller goals will also fill you with the self confidence necessary to aim for those bigger and more grandiose goals. You know what I am talking about, those big hairy goals that scare the pants off you right now.

Robert Schuller always talked about the peak to peek principle.

When you climb to the top of the mountain (your goal), only then can you see the next mountain to climb (or goal to achieve). It was only possible to see the mountain in front.

Discover those mountains that are not possible to see right now. Goals are pretty much the same. Hard to see beyond what is directly in front of us.

Those are impossibilities that you are probably not even considering at this time, but with time, effort and persistence, those will become very possible, and even probable.

Set those goals… and work daily towards accomplishing what you really want in your life.

See your life as it is right now.

Then, see it as you want it to be.

Now… Make it as you now see it.

Believe it. Go for it. You deserve it.

Never underestimate the universal power you have access to when you begin to believe in yourself. You. Can. Do. It.

On a related note, proper decision making depends on having a thorough knowledge of what you want in life.

Proper Decision Making is one of the best reasons for keeping a set of written goals close at hand. .
