Recessions are for countries. They do not apply to individual performance.
So, don’t take part in them.
Economists and Insurance Companies can pretty much predict how the average populations will behave.
But… No one can predict an individual’s behavior.
I love this famous quote. When asked how he had managed to achieve business growth through the recession, host of The Apprentice and billionaire Sir Alan Sugar replied, “I received my invitation to the recession, but chose not to accept it.”

There is no recession, there are only opportunities to be recognized and taken advantage of before they disappear. Opportunity loves speed.
Focus on those usually short windowed opportunities that can empower you to take profitable action. Leave the rest alone… Focus on what you want. Let others play the semantics game.
